Batbatan Island, Culasi, Antique, Philippines

batbat About 50 kilometers south of the world-famous island resort of Boracay is another island village that possesses pristine natural beauty and a much better natural biodiversity.  This island is called Batbatan Island (official name: Barangay Batbatan Island).  The island village is  10 kilometers away from the municipality of Culasi in the Province of Antique, Philippines.  For the residents of Culasi and of the rest of the province, this place seems to be a country away seldomly visited by non-residents.  Being in the island, one will get the feeling of being out of civilization and being out in the forests, beaches and seas of the island, one will find him or herself out of this world.

A destination to discover!
